How it all started

Live on Acid are Manchester based electronic music production and DJing duo Matt & Anthony. Their sound straddles electronica, disco-house and electro-breaks with a heavy influence from the classic sounds of acid-house.
They emerged onto the scene in April 2021 with their debut single Hype/Reality and received positive reviews and support for both that release and their follow-up Fragile Minds EP. Over the last year, they have been consistently championed by BBC Introducing as well as many other radio and club DJs and publications.
Their genre-blurring debut LP Preaching to the Perverted was released on the Hello World label in Spring 2022 and has received strong support from stalwarts across the electronic music scene including Midfield General, Boxia, Nightwave, Joyce Muniz and Janette Slack.
Since the album they have also released well received remixes for Kostas G, Planningtorock and Atari Safari.
The Live on Acid sound is made to be replicated live and they're equally at home performing their tracks or DJing. Either way you'll get dancefloor-friendly tunes, made for today's parties with a nod to UK club heritage! Look out for them energising a dancefloor or festival near you soon!
